English by unilang on Mon 2008-08-04, 19:06 We would like to inform everybody of the fact that Abavagada is leaving his administrative posts at UniLang. After co-founding UniLang and eight years of hard work, he is moving on to other projects, but will remain active as a member. We, proycon, bab, geoff, wsz, Car, Saaropean regret the fact that he leaves, but respect the decision and thank him for his dedicated work and immense motivation in the many years we have worked together.

The new UniLang site has been launched!

As you can see, the UniLang site is back up and has changed considerably! For a very long time we have been working on the new site, and now because of severe server trouble, we were forced to launch the new UniLang site ahead of schedule.

The first thing you should do on the new site is make sure your profile is still accurate. Take some time to update your language list, location, and other settings.

Almost everything is new. The forum has been completely restyled, various new courses are available, and the language resource viewers have been redesigned as well.

Because of the premature launch, there are also various portions of the site that are not ready yet. So you might temporarily miss some things that were on the old site. Most notably lacking is the new Translation & Development Center, so currently it is unfortunately not yet possible to translate the site and other resources. Also lacking are the various interactive resource applications. We hope to count on some patience and will do our best to get these systems ready!
